The Hotel Opel is located in the centre of Heinersreuth and is only 3 km away from Bayreuth, the Wagner and university city in beautiful Upper Franconia. Furthermore, Heinersreuth is located at the Red Main and at the entrance to the tourist regions: Franconian Switzerland and the Fichtel Mountains. The house also has a garden whose herbs, historic tomatoes and much more are also used for the breakfast buffet together with homemade jams and jellies, pickled vegetables or tomatoes (depending on the season). In the garden we attach importance to the principles of organic cultivation as described by Marie-Luise Kreuter.
We also try to grow herbs, fresh salads and vegetables for a large part of the year, if possible. This not only contributes to freshness, but is also sustainable. Since 2012, we have been heating with bioenergy, which has saved us 18.2 tonnes of carbon dioxide per year compared to the oil central heating we had at the time. In addition, we have always attached importance to energy-saving measures. At the same time, the comfort of our guests is important to us.
Our guest rooms with shower/WC or bath/WC (only one is with bath/WC) and TV can be booked online here. Parking spaces in front of and behind the house are included. The WLAN Free Wifi Opel can be used in the house and garden for our guests with a password. Please note the number of persons per room. The Storchen pharmacy is located near the hotel. In the village there are two bakeries a bistro and a restaurant. In the Altenplos district there is an electric charging station of the Sonnenbatterie company. There is also a doctor, a dentist, hairdressers and a beauty salon. The Rotmainauenweg, the Ökolehrpfad and the Waldhütte adventure trail are ideal for hiking.
